Village Laguna actively supports many
community programs and organizations

In addition to its own environmentally oriented projects, Village Laguna gives
time and money to a variety of other community programs designed to benefit
local residents and local businesses.

Over the past year, Village Laguna's community involvement included:
Membership in the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce
Participation in the Books by the Sea book fair
A $1000 scholarship to a Laguna Beach High School student for contributing to environmental protection

Financial contributions to:
La Playa Center-for assisting Spanish speaking parents and children
Laguna Art Museum
Laguna Beach Historical Society
Laguna Day Workers Center
Laguna Resource Center-providing assistance to Lagunans in need

Village Laguna supports activities that conserve and enhance the unique village character of Laguna Beach. Founded in 1971, this non-profit community organization began when concerned citizens opposed the construction of high rise buildings along the legendary Laguna Beach coastline and helped create Main Beach Park.
